George Augustine Emefiele – B.Sc, M.Sc, MBA, ACIPM

Mr. George Augustine Emefiele graduated from University of Ibadan with a Bachelor of science degree in Sociology (1990), He also obtained a Master of Science Degree in Industrial Relations and personnel Management [IRPM] 1995 and a Master of Business Administration [MBA] from Federal University of Technology Akure Ondo State (2002).

Mr. George A. Emefiele belong to several Associations among which are as follows: Associate member of the chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria [ACIPM], Associate Member, Charted institute of Management, Associate Member of Charted Institute of Economics, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Administration and not leaving a graduate Diploma, College of Insurance in Ogun State, 2024.

He started his career as a lecturer in the department of Finance and Business Administration, Yaba College of Technology where he rose to the position of a Senior Lecturer between 1991 to 1995 and later joined the Insurance Industry where he worked at Picadilly and Vigilant Insurance Company Ltd from 1995 to August 2004 where he was given the mandate to create a Direct Marketing or Business Development Unit and excel in his Marketing function.

In 2004, he moved to the United State of America where he worked in various organization amongst which are Farmers Insurance incorporated (2005), Home Depot Inc USA (2007) Citi Group Inc Dallas USA (2008).

In January 2009 he joined NEM Insurance Plc as a Group Executive. His starter performances attracted several promotions and responsibilities.

He is currently the General Manager [Marketing / Business Development] where he oversees the strategic positioning at NEM.

He has attended many courses in Management and Marketing both locally and internationally.

His happily married with children.
