The policy covers damages for which the insured is legally liable resulting from accidental death, injury, or disease to third parties, including damage to third-party property, due to any defect in the products manufactured. Coverage can extend to exports to other countries, provided domestic sales are also covered.

All costs, fees, and expenses incurred in the investigation, defense, and settlement of claims made against the insured, as well as the cost of representation at any inquiry or other proceedings related to matters directly relevant to the claim against the insured, are covered by the policy, subject to the overall limits stated in the policy.
